Default Stuck crank pulley

Hey guys, needing some tips on how to remove a crank pulley from my junkyard 5.3, I have broke two 3 jaw pullers trying to get it off along with heat and pb blaster its not budging at all I have pulled several of these before but never had this much trouble, I also tried the Chrysler puller from autozone the rod that came with it was to short and bottomed out before any pressure was on it, any advice is appreciated.

There is another "Chrysler" puller that comes with longer rods for the LS.

Heat the balancer up with a propane torch around the crank snout, then try it.

Also, if you haven't already.

Remove the crank bolt first.

I've gotten the Chrysler tool to work by re-installing the crank bolt all the way, back it off 4-5 threads so you still have loads of engagement, then use a short rod that hits the head of the crank bolt. Once you get it started, it starts going faster/easier.

Mine seemed like it was actually part of the crank the first time I took it off, at 54,000 miles.I had to get out the oxy acetylene wrench and heat it way beyond my comfort level, but it slowly let go in small increments. I took ot off years later to put on a fluidampr, and it came off easily. go figure. Oh, and get an ARP bolt for it, its money well spent.

For added insurance, always put antiseeze on the inside to help that from ever happening again,

Reporting back, I got it off ordered a Chrysler type puller for $23, heated it, put pressure on it and beat it with a piece of 2x4 and hammer and slowly worked it off, I appreciate everyones info definitely was a first for me having that much trouble on one.

Can you post the link to a vendor that sells that pulley, or PM me?
