Question Moving to SE LT Headers and True Duel; misc. questions

Hi all,

I've been trying to take in as much data as possible on this.

Going to install:
Questions:
  • O2 sensors - it appears there's 4; 2 before the CAT and 2 after. My understanding is that since I'll be running catless (no emissions state) I only need the front two. I'll need extensions for these.
    • Do I need to purchase new front sensors? If so, what's the standing recommendation?
    • Do I need to plug the rear two? It appears the front two are on the collector part of the header; I'm not sure where the rear two are.
  • Spark Plugs - the standing recommendation is to change these and the plug wires. Are there any standard recommendations based on the changes I'm making?
Thank you!

You'll have to get a tune to shut off the rear O2's or install non-fouler/simulators for the rear O2's. You can reuse existing O2 sensors with extensions or purchase O2's with longer harnesses. Some use the 13111's. You dont have to change plugs/wires, but many will change to a TR55 or TR6 depending on mods.

Thank you for the quick response!

I'm going to get a tune by Frost. Still need to figure everything out there (EGR, AIR, shift firmness, etc.).

Am I right to assume the front O2 sensors are the one on the collector and the rear O2 sensors at the ones in the first foot or so here before it comes together to form an X? https://www.speed-engineering.com/sh...rear-exit.html

Assuming these are the rear O2s, do I need to plug them? Do I just zip-tie the old O2 sensors/wires together and attach them to the body for safekeeping?

Yes I believe the SE LT's have O2 bungs in them, making the ones in the true dual piping unnecessary and can be plugged. Yes just ziptie them out of the way.

Thank you! The exhaust may come with plugs, I'm not sure. Either way it won't hurt anything if the rears are open until it's tuned.

Now I just need to pick-up a set of MSD plug wires and NGK plugs and I'm set.

I appreciate the help!
