Stupid amount of oil under LSA Lid.
2002 5.3, FI cam, with LSA supercharger swap and 2.55 upper pulley, in a 71 Chevelle. Been driving and tuning it. Yesterday it started oil smoking out the exhaust and finally the plugs got so fouled I barely made it home. Fearing a broken oil ring or something else catastrophic i pulled valve covers and springs on one head all the valve seals looked good. Pulled the lid to the supercharger and found a tremendous amount of oil in every nook and kranny in the charger. Have a catch can. See pictures, and take a look at my setup looking for any suggestions as Ive only driven it 4 times on short outings and this much oil was in there and caused all kinds of issues, with fouling, smoke, tuning, etc. I have already searched and thats how I landed on this forum, among many other forums that came up in my search. Looking for any suggestions on pcv routing or catch can or cans if I need two or any recommendations at this point to keep oil out. I do not have a port on the valley cover.

I just recently missed a shift and maybe hit a lean spot bounced off redline so hard I knew I broke something. 4 bent intake valves 2 bent chromoly pushrods 1 #3 intake valve seat dropped stuck between head and valve and #7 liner cracked. The only time I observed anything near that much oil was when I cracked #7 liner. I’m sure it could be a ring issue too. However you need The valley pan hooked up that’s where all the dirty combustion/air oil pushes through. Lmk what happened good luck

I had a adjustable pcv valve stick open on my freshly built engine. Car started smoking like a old steam engine, neighbors thought my garage was on fire. I just vent into a catch can now no smoke and the catch can is always empty. Hopefully yours is just something like that and not a ring issue
