Keep throwing P0342 p0343 codes

Keep throwing P0342 p0343 codes I have a 5.3 cammed in a c10. I started noticing my truck was driving erratically and sluggish. It had a hard time starting up as if I had carb on it. I scanned it cam sensor code comes up replaced it and still same issue. I went ahead and used my ohmeter and I have solid connections to the sensor. Idk what else could it be? I'm lost. Has anyone dealt with this issue before. I hope it's not the camshaft itself. If that was the case I wouldn't be driving it the way I do. Any help will do.

Yes it was tuned for the cam. Prior to issue I thought my starting issue was coming from possibly a bad check valve and I was going to install one may still do it. I'll try a new sensor. If that doesn't work what could it possibly be?
