Spark plug selection for increased compression Should spark plug heat range be taken into consideration when increasing compression on NA street motor?
what I got:
4.8/5.3 Gen3 block, 862 heads, gen4 crank and rods, speed pro flat top floating pin pistons.
Will be running a TSP 212/218 .550 112LSA cam.
I calculated about 10.7-10.8 CR
Should I go up or down with the heat range on the plugs? I’ve been running the factory recommended AC Delco iridium plugs at the stock CR of 9.5.
