Default Fast 92 MAP hole

Hey everybody. Got a Fast 92 and the MAP sensor is pretty loose in its gasket. I did put a little bit of RTV around the outside of the gasket to get a little bit better of a seal but I'm led to believe it's still letting a small amount of air in so I wanna take the manifold off and tap the hole for a NPT fitting to have a remote setup for the MAP. Does anybody have a writeup of this and know what sizes to use for the NPT fitting? Any help would be appreciated. I tried searching but haven't had any luck finding anything. Thank you

is your map new ? you can get gaskets for maps if yours is old and worn....the fast setup is not very good for the map....no way to hold it down very good...google finds some people make a hold down bracket

Negative, it's used. Has some years on it, hell it might even be the original from 98 lol it came with the car and I got the car several years ago so I'm guessing it's original. I did see a person make a hold down for it by using a longer bolt, a piece of flat aluminum and a piece of round tubing to act as a spacer but when I go turbo'd down the road I gotta replace the MAP sensor anyways so I figured I'd just make it a little easier to swap when time comes but wanna enjoy the car for the time being

GM went with all those silicone rubber gaskets....they just dont last forever and lose shape ...shrink...tear...if your map is still good try a new gasket...its a lot cheaper than a map

There are two styles of MAP seals. LS1,2,6,7 use a grommet. LS3 use an o-ring.

LS1 style grommet is GM part number 16194007
I don't know part number of o-ring.

well thing is that your intake is always sucking in as long as you dont run boost. in this case thos gaskets are on but the stock intake has somehting that holds it in place. if you never figured this out, i made up a little map hold down using one of the intake shel bolts and a bent piece of metel. works great
