Coil swap help

Coil swap help Hello,
I read the master coil thread but im still not clear on what will work. It mentions all the ls1,2 3 etc but I dont know what is what.
I have a stock 04 lq4 and am trying to determine if I can swap 1st or 5th gen coils on it. I am doing this because I bought two piece valve covers without realizing these stock coil packs are too tall to fit under the valve cover.
Primarily asking if the harness plugs are the same as my lq4 coils. If not I hope I can have psi (or someone else) change the connectors on a custom harness.... going in a 70 chevy truck
