I'm new to the forum, just picked up a 99 Trans Am last weekend. Coming from a 94 Formula, it's amazing what a difference the heart of the beast can make...the Trans Am js a much better car in every respect, largely due to the LS1.
The previous owner plated a few emissions components, and I'm trying to identify what they are. I'll include pictures below. One of them is of the EGR valve delete, if I understand correctly, the one on the front. My question is...what is that back plate for? What component was deleted?
