I'm reverting from Long tube headers to blackheart shorties because Cali...... And I'm having an issue with the steering shaft to header clearance any suggestions? Can the shaft telescope to make room? The pacesetter headers i previously had on there had no fitment issues.

my old truck was the same way, I took a torch to them and got them nice and hot and then knocked a dent it them with a hammer
