Ls6 intake install surge at idle?
I did an ls swap ( lq4 truck engine into a 67 firebird ), everything seemed to run very well with the truck intake, I added a ls6 intake, and it had stock EV1 injectors, i had smaller injectors on the lq4 truck intake. When I start it it runs a lot louder, probly the extra gas, but then when it settles down it has a small surge, it seems like the computer is trying to adjust, but just checking to see if I have everything done right.
The back of the intake vacuum I have plugged into the power brake booster, it does not seem to leak, the first valve cover pcv on the passenger side is plugged into the manifold on the passenger side nipple. The other nipple on the other side I have blocked off ( drivers side ) , now the back pcv off of the valve cover is venting to atmosphere ( dont know where to put it ).
Is there something I missed? I really cant take it for a drive yet, a lot of the car is still under construction ( i dont even have a shifter installed yet, but so far so good.
Does the computer need a retune?
Do I have a leak?
WIll the computer just readjust?
I used the ict billet pigtails to convert the harness to the mk injectors.
