Default Broke nipple off New map sensor installing OK to use

As the title says I broke the plastic nipple off while trying to install the sensor into my ligenfelter ls1 intake and was wondering if it would be OK to use the sensor or should I buy a new one. The sensor is brand new and I was thinking I could install it without the nipple and use high temp silicone to seal it. I attached some pics let me know what you guys think.

Nope. Buy a new one. It WILL leak otherwise.
