I read a post here where a member reported that his lid broke with the AirHog. He contacted Fram and they sent him a check for a replacement lid and Fram was going to research the problem.

Yea, i bought an Airhog when they first came out and it didn't even come close to fitting. Took it back and ordered a Holley Powershot and it fits like a glove.

The Fram brand and Allied Signal are very good. Many have said the same about the K&N brand and the other brands of reuseables. The K&N units don't seem to fit very well either. The element oil ruins the sensors. Most of these aftermarket lids are garbage. They don't fit well, and the material they make them out of doesn't hold up to the underhood temperatures. They flow more, but only because the warp and leak like a drunk at a dive bar. You'd get more results in using a pair of Sheer Ultra panty hose for an air filter.
