2002 t/a p0300
At cold start up, car idles fine. Once warm it starts to miss fire at idle. Does not seem to miss fire when driving at higher RPMs.
Spark plugs look good.
no vacuum leaks that I can find.
ill be checking fuel pressure later today however seems to me if it was a fuel pump issue it would miss all the time??
originally the code was a P0302. So I swapped coils to the other side and a P0300 came up. Want to check the code again but so far hasn't thrown a code a 3rd time.....but definitely still misses once warm.
ill report back once I check fuel pressure.

I recently installed brand new plug wires and was getting random misfires. One plug wire was repeatedly falling off the plug. I replaced that one wire and the problem was resolved.
all plug wires are definitely on firmly.
I guess next I'll swap all the plugs and wires. I HATE throwing parts at something. It gets expensive in a hurry.
ughhhhh
The guy really didn't know enough to tell me more than that. hard to imagine what would cause those 2 specific cylinders to all of a sudden start missing. Im frustrated and not sure I have any options other than taking it to the dealer at this point and I REALLY hate to do that.
