Poly mounts shore rating Hi,
going to get some poly mounts made for my ls1 turbo engine. Turbo exhaust routing is tight and maybe contributing to engine knock.
So want to replace my rubber mounts with some poly ones. Don't want too hard a shore, so what you recommend? 75, 80.
current setup is kit car with 2x rubber rover v8 mounts per side.
Also could this increase engine knock in any way?

Rubber mounts are typically in the 55-65 Shore A range, poly can be anywhere from 70-95 shore A. In my experience, 95 shore A poly is damn near solid with very little give.
