I might’ve misunderstood the instructions with installing my LSXRT intake I used flexible steam lines that go under the intake I haven’t anyone else do that. I used the kit below. I’m just wondering if anyone else has used steam line like this with the LSXRT intake or if I need to use a different kit.
I can't comment with any credibility about clearance under that particular FAST intake. However, some years ago I ran the old, first gen 90mm FAST intake on my 2000 Vert LS1. This was around 2004-2005. I kept the stock 4 point GM steam pipe setup with it. I did spotface/shallow counterbore the valley cover hold down bolt holes, and used buttonhead cap screws. Also VERY CAREFULLY clearanced the underside of the intake with a Dremel. I had no problems running the GM LS6 intake or the FAST 90. But as I said, I've never messed with the LSXRT.....
I ran the motion raceworks 4 port kit with my fast 92mm. Didn't see how there could be room under it when the instructions called for nocking off the tabs on the nock sensor wires so the manifold sat down all the way. The lsxrt may be diffrent though have yet to see one in person.
I don't see how there is any room under the intake for a setup like that. You already need to run button head bolts and such for clearance and it's CLOSE. On my TBSS it already head the rears blocked from the factory and I was able to use the front crossover still. I figured, that's how it came, that's how it's going back. As you can see, very little space.
On my last couple of LS swaps with L92's and LS3 intakes I just use the stock two front steam ports. Same as stock. Never have had any engine heating issues.
I do drill and tap the left block for 1/8" NPT and -3 AN fittings. Then run -3 up to to a port on the right side of the radiator.

Called ICT they said it should work because it’s a low profile and flexible lines I did also use the ICT flat valley cover and flat bolts. Let’s just hope for the best. If gives me any temp issues later on, I’ll change it.
