Default P0342 on cam swap

Have a P0342 code come up on a recent cam swap and trying to see what else I'm missing. No CEL's prior to cam swap.
Stock L33 with LS6 intake. Swapped in an LS2 cam with 1x cam gear and front timing cover. Also upgraded to LS6 springs to support the cam.
I've extended the CMP harness and plugging directly into the front sensor (no pigtail).
Confirmed pin A = 12v, B = GND, and C has continuity to the ecu (Green Pin 73).
For funsies, also swapped A and C to make sure I didn't mix it up somewhere.

Am I missing anything else? Maybe just a bad sensor?
Reading around, it seems people say to do the crank relearn procedure, but it's always accompanied by P0018. I'm not throwing that code so not sure if it'll help. Would just try this but no HP tuners/EFI live with me.

Swapped the sensor for new. Worked without needing to do the crank relearn
