there is a guy selling an intake, he is about 2 hours from my place, he has no clue if it's for cathedral or rectangular port, he says there is no part number engraved or written anywhere on it, these are the only pics I have to go by, could someone help me ID this intake please, I'd really appreciate.

Looks like rectangle port to me but hard to see the top part of the intake port. Tell him to flip it over and send you a pic of the intake ports
Looks like the typical Chineseum sheet metal intake that will kill your torque curve from idle to 7000 RPM, but give you 1.5 HP over an LS6 at 8000. Lol.
Okay... it's all coming together now.... Miata tech is doing an LS 4.8 swap on a Miata, and needs an intake that will kill enough power to 5k RPM to enable use of stock Miata trans and rear end.... hey... it could happen! LOL!!
