header tick ?

Default header tick ?

while the car is cold (first thing in the morning or after it sits for a while) i have no tick, but after it warms up I do. It doesnt get louder but as rpm goes up so does the rate of the tick, all im wondering is if this is normal id figure regular header tick would be all the time, any ideas? i also retorqued the header bolts

I'm willing to bet that your headers are walking out a bit. You should think about picking up some heavy duty header bolts. They have a hell of a lot more holding power than the stock bolts.

When you retorqued the header bolts were they loose at all?? If so did it quiet it up!!!

the only slightly loose bolts were for the !AIR and the !EGR and no change in the tick
