Default Custom duals with cats - who's done it?

Hi all -

Has anybody sucessfully fabbed up a set of true duals WITH cats? I have cats on my TDs, but I would hardly call it sucessful. The bottom of the drivers side carsound cat hangs about 2.5" below the bottom of the door rocker panel. Thats even about 1.25" lower than my big boxed 3 point SFCs. I would like to tuck the drivers side up a bit higher, but there's simply no room. What have you guys done?

My plan of attack is to make a quick Z bend off of the drivers side header collector (using two opposed 90* bends) so that the cat can be tucked higher up inside the drivetrain tunnel. What do you guys think about running it that way? Any other suggestions?

Thanks,
-Tony

There's some cats up there (gutted)... slip on SLP cats over the the SLP LT collector. The X-pipe setup begins after the 02 bungs retained from the SLP Y-pipe which was cut-off.
Anything can be done with a good exhaust shop.
I don't have 3 point SFC's, so I had less obstacles to deal with.

this is my 2.5" setup i had with my MACs. They were interchangable like the FLP setup was, with the option to use off-road pipes.

Can't beat the sound. I really need to record this again, the current clip I have does it no justice (it was raining and I couldn't accelerate without losing control ).
