Anybody tried Fram Air Hog?

Just wanted to know if anyone has used that Fram Air Hog Filter? I've already got a K&N, but was wondering if this is any better.

I ran an 11.19 with the Fram Hog. I does not have the wide border covering the flow area as does the K & N. It should flow more with more flow area.

I picked mine up at Wal-mart for under $40.00.

I may try out one of the Fram Air Hogs. I know Fram has always made quality products at cheap prices, so why not give it a shot.

I saw them for the first time today at an Autozone. I have to say I was really interested in them until I saw the price. $42 for a paper filter, that's too much for me. I guess it's because it has the official "NHRA" logo on it.

I think I'll just stick to my $10 Wix filters.

The Fram Air Hog is not a paper filter. It's a cotton gauze material - just like the K&N and other similar reusable filters.

Whoops, I thought it looked kinda weird to be paper. I just assumed it was since I read it on the box somewhere. It has a nice color to it if you have a clear lid.
