there are different part numbers for air lids for 98-99 and 00-02 whats the difference. can you put a 98-99 lid on a 00

just picked up a lid from ls1speed the MTI clear lid and it looks exactly like mine. but i got the lid used so im not sure what is was actually for. and my other friend just picked up a 00 SS. Why is the 00-02 lid more expensive.

and for those that have bought the lid new. is it supposed to come with the coupler to connect it to the maf sensor.

all the year lids are the same except 00-02's need a breather to cap off a hose. AFAIK slp's lid is the only one with the provision for the hose.

 

my AIR is deleted so i guess i could give him my breather till his is deleted too.

does anyone know if i am supposed to get a silicone hose with this lid... before i start complaining to ls1speed and find out im wrong..

as far as im know all lids are shipped out lid only, no accompioning parts.
