It was for that same reason, I just turbocharged my old Rover V8 engine. Its relatively easy to make functional turbo manifolds in the space provided.....
Guess I may just have to do it again , although I was wanting to SC this time....

I had the same problem. Mine was the drivers side. My y-pipe wouldn't slide over the collecter.

quick question a bit off topic..... are those the coated headers? because if they are, i think speed engineering sent me a pair of coated headers instead of the uncoated ones. Thanks

Yes, these are the coated headers. But I think the headers are drop shipped from pacesetter, so they may have screwed up! Good for you!
