Default Another Mac to LT ?

I did actual search this, and found pretty much what I was looking for. Normally, going this route increases the under the curve torque and hp, and the the hp comes out to be about even up at peak--correct? My question is, does the difference in power and torque show even more so when you go w/ the bigger cam/head packages that we are seeing on the market now?

of course you wont see the max gains unless each are done together (heads/Cam-headers), or (headers then heads/Cam) is that what you're asking? each benefits from the other

I should have been clearer. What I was asking if the LT outdue the Macs greatly when going w/ a big h/c package.

Do LT's outflow midlengths? Yes. When going with a bigger cam and heads do they benefit from greater exhaust flow? Yes.

Not enough to make you switch. Just cut off the ball flanges and weld in 3inch collectors with a custom y-pipe. You can also port the primaries.

I agree. I did the switch and wish I would have stayed with my macs. Not worth it IMO.

Did you feel like you lost power, or had problems w/ your lt's? For the price of Pacesetters right now, I could sell my setup, and buy the Pacesetter's w/ the new TSP Y Pipe, and only be out a few hundred. That might be cheaper and easier than modifying these.

It really depends on how big the cam is. If you go with like the T-rex cam, the LT's will make a much greater differance than if you go with an LS6 cam.

What kind of cam are you looking to get/ what kind of heads?
