Default Anyone using SLP LS6 intake and !EGR?

I have an SLP LS6 intake with their EGR hookup on it, but I have deleted my EGR. Can anybody tell me what to use to plug the fitting? I suppose a freeze plug might be the way to go, but there is already a threaded nozzle on the intake if I could find an appropriate threaded cap for it. Any insights would be appreciated. Thanks!

go to any auto/hardware store and look for a plug for that size. It's like a thick fat rubber washer with metal washers on top and bottom with a nut and bolt sorta gizmo going through it. You put it in the hole and then tighten the nut until the washers squeeze the plug enough for a snug fit. And then you're done!!!

Hope this info helps

It is a 1 3/8 expanding freeze plug. It is black rubber with a metal washer looking top and a nut in the middle.

I thought the 1 3/8" plug was for LS1 intakes.... The EGR adaptor looks smaller than that. I was hoping to find a cap that would screw onto the brass fitting. I will try the freeze pluge route.... hopefully it works.

It was either $2.99 or $3.99....I forget. It was worth the purchase, fits perfect (unlike some professionally designed parts...), and does not look too bad. If you didn't tell people when they looked under your hood, they would probably never know. Unless you haven't cleaned under your hood in five years and you make a clean spot.
