Default anybody know how to make a manual fan switch

ive got a 2001 SS camaro...does anyone know how to make a manual fan switch for it??

well i used that method to make the switch.. got in it.. it works great....has anyone had trouble with the S.E.S. light coming on.. with codes 480 and 481??? cooling cirtuit error and cooling fan relay #1 error

If im not mistaken its just cause your over ridding the factory fan settings with a switch. Be sure that they still come on by themselvs when the switch is off.

Obviously I am a little late with this but did you look at the automatic fan mod on the same site. It is an adjustable Hayden thermo controlled switch. I picked up mine yesterday at the local Autozone for a whopping $20. That and the tstat mod will get done tonight. Nice mod because you can turn the temp up in the winter and down in the summer and no SES lights.

Works great, except I think the logic is off for the LED's. I just used 2 12 volt LED's without resistors.

Yeah, I get them too. Like Stangkiller said, I get tthe SES light when the computer tries to turn them on and sees they are already on. I just clear them right away with my little LS1M scanner(In the staging lanes a few times).
