No power steering

Default No power steering

Did to dounut today, when i drove away I have no power steering, not sure what is up any ideas?

Possible that steering pump dies. Mine died during a hard breaking
maneuver going fast into a 90 deg corner bend.

I would have thought you threw the belt. How far did you drive afterwards?

Well figured out what it was, the shaft inside the power steering pump snaped, not realy sure how that happened but I pulled the belt off and then pulled on the pully and shaft and all came right out. Anyone ever hear of thos before

Never heard of that. Maybe you were low on fluid?

I think some units are just pieces of crap. I had two die on me, fluid was fine, etc. Next time it goes out a new one wont be going back in.
