Default Truck coils vs. Fbody coils

I have seen a couple of different posts of high rwhp cars, 1000+, using truck coils rather than the standard coils. Do the truck coils generate a high/hotter spark?

The Melco Truck coils have a hotter spark than the normal Ls1 Coils. You really only need to start looking at the Truck Coils once you surpass the 750rwhp mark. They are GM part # 12558693

Only if you are spark limited. Which should only be
the case with very high cylinder pressures like you'd
see from the boost or bottle needed to hit those high
horsepower numbers.

On the other hand, it might amuse you and make you
feel like you've done something nice for the car this
month. Even if it's somewhat performance-irrelevant
to most of us.
