Default Build my car!!!

I have done a few modifications to my car and am not sure where to go next. Please read my signature and tell me your opinion of what three parts I should add on next. If you had it to do over again with your car, what would you have bought? Basically I am looking for more horsepower and speed before brakes and suspension(but not ruled out) but will not add Nitrous and can't afford a turbo or SC right now. Also it is a daily driver, not a future track monster, trying to get the best of both worlds.

Thanks guys. I am definitely leaning towards a TCI 3500 SSF, LS6 intake, and a TR224 .563 112+4 cam. And of course good tunning to go with all.

1. TCI SSF3500 or bigger! (with trans cooler and shift kit)
2. SFC
3. LS6 intake
4. Ported TB
5. pullies
6. Next big mod after converter....cam kit (cam, pushrods, springs/seats/retainers, new ported oil pump, new timing chain, dyno tune....)
7. STICKY TIRES

Get those in any order with these exceptions:
-converter first
-tires after converter
-bolt-ons finished before cam/tune

I think a converter is a good idea, but maybe not one that high, how about 2800 stealth, would have the same throttle response as stock.

Oh also ls6 intake and ported TB for sure. There are a few new sponsers with good deals on TBs right now.

What kind of budget are you on? That'll have alot to do with the mods.

Cheap Mods:
ASP underdrive
Subframe Connectors
Throttle Body
Free Ram Air
FTRA

Moderate to Expensive Mods:
TC 3600+
Cam only
Heads and Cam
Intake

Also remember: With out suspension you can only go so fast.
Lowering Springs
LCA's
Panhard Rod
STB
Relocation Brackets

If I had it to do over again, I would just get a procharger and be done with it.

The important things to take away from this thread:

A torque converter is cruicially important.
Go at least 3500 stall, end of story.
Do NOT lower the car, it will not launch as well.

Thanks for everyone's input. I think I will be going with a SSF3500, LS6 intake, and TR224 cam package. Also sub frame connectors. Now I just have to start buying things one at a time.

Looks like a very good list.
Just so long as you get the converter ASAP, and get the cam and a good tune last, you should be good to go on the order of purchase. Might want to squeaze the minor bolt ons in there as well............pullies, ported TB for example, they are good hp/et gain for the $$ spent.

Sounds like you got it nailed but in my opinion youre gonna need LCA's, i have an M6 and they helped, don't know about A4's. They're cheap and easy to install. Just my .02
