Does anybody know what i need to remove these and how its done? also i know they both throw codes and will make the SES light come on, but do they hurt the car performance wise in any way? thanks

I took mine off when i put headers on. It throw a code but you can get it erased. Didnt affect anything but weight. Need some block off plates to cover up the holes or you can get the headers with out the egr and air all together.
I bought a freeze plug (or something like that, been awhile) i believe for the intake as well. think it was a 3" or 3 1/2" cant remember. I know there is a write up on some other site but dont remember which one though.
Was a piece of cake...

EGR cools the cylinders and allows extra timing and reduced emmissions. If you add a cam with increased overlap EGR is bad and should be removed because otherwise you will have too much exhaust gas left over in the cylinders. Air injection is used at startup to add air to the exhaust to assist in burning off excess fuel and heat up the catalytic converters. It also helps you catalytic converters last longer. If you plan on keeping your cats I recommend that you leave the AIR pump alone. It uses an unmeasurable amount of horsepower at startup, only runs a very short time, and the system only weighs a few pounds, so there is a only a small weight savings to be had.
