pacesetters are just about the cheapest, and there are a lot of haters out there but im happy with mine also got pacesetter off road y pipe before the new design and have had no problems other than a little banging on the floorboard on a cold startup, did the installation with a friend, its pretty easy, knotched the k member a little and removed the steering knuckle, if you get no smog headers you will have to remove your EGR and AIR as i did and you will have to get 02 sims for the rear 02's and 02 extensions for the front 02's

BlackY2KSS About summed it all up. I like my Pacesetters, but I have heard alot about them leaking around the header flange, but you can fix that by doubling up gaskets. I ordered mine from TSP

Did you think about buying use ones?
Also i have a question about buying used headers? Would there be any problems with going in that direction?

if they are mildy used, go for it...saves you some money...i like the pacesetters, installed them on a friends car...pretty easy and straight forward install...i am not going with them on my car only because i am putting in a really big cam, and am going with the edlebrock victor series 1 3/4, stepped to 1 7/8in....the edlebrock's are reasonably priced at $495 for the headers, ory, and extensions.

Pacesetter's are cheap and fit great. If you live in a mild climate then the coating should last. The only thing I had to do was grind off the extra casting on the block. Very easy to do. The new design has a lot of clearance and didn't require notching of the K member. Got mine from speed-eng, they're a sponsor. But if you can pick up a set of high end headers for cheap, then I would go that route. But if you want new and don't wanna spend a lot of money, then Pacesetters work great. Also, do a search because there are tons of info on this site.
