Default have an AC leak...

I can hear it and feel it coming from where the 2 lines go into a fitting, then go into a black box by the PCM..Any idea how to fix this?

The lines that go into the evaporator core have O-rings on them.Unless the core itself is the problem. Is that what you mean? Is it leaking out as soon as you put it in?

If i put my hand on the fittin where the 2 lines go in and theres 2 1/2 inch bolts holding it together, i can feel cold air leaking, tried to tape it up to see if thats it but i cant get tape all over the damn thing..

Are you feeling that with the A/C on & blower running? Thats normal, the air is escaping the evaporator case.

Damn this is killing me then...I tried some UV detector fill and i didnt see it leak ANYWHERE...but when i shut the car off right after the ac is on i can still hear that leak for a few seconds.. Do those leak stop cans work?

Your hearing the refrigerant run past the oriffice tube & equalizing the system pressure when the compressor stops running. This is normal, it is the restriction in the system & is located right there in the liquid line/inlet block of the evaporator core.
Is your A/C system loosing refrigerant? If you put dye in there it should show somewhere. I don't like the sealer at all. It can cause problems like plugging the oriffice tube.
Common places for leaks, Compressor, condeser, & evaporator core.
If it's loosing R-134, how long does it take to leak it all out?

Ok heres the full story... I installed my cam and got creative when i was clearing space for the cam install. I accidently purged the system by loosening the line one the silver cylinder next to the battery.. closed it and since i get cold air but it wont come out of the vents, only the defroster vents on the dash and pillars and underdash.

I tried refilling it and the system takes the r134a just fine but my guage shows it never rising above 7-8 psi...Ive tried a good 3 times now but as you can see im a complete tard at AC systems.

Did you take the intake manifold off? Check the vacuum line at the rear of the intake & make sure it's connected. One of them is the vacuum feed to your HVAC control inside the car. Thats how it moves the duct selections with vacuum. The A/C has to be running to pull the refrigerant in & your gauge is prolly off, 7-8 psi? There's more in the can standing alone.

I did upgrade to the ls6 at the same time. I guess its possible.. I will check that today and let you know. thanks alot bro.
