LS6 intake modification?

ok so my ls6 has been sitting in my room collecting dust for the past month because the coolant lines i ordered have not been shiped yet...

i just searched for about 30 min for alternative routes to take and found a couple of posts on grinding the bottom of the intake with a dremel, who has done this and would you reccomend it?, anyone have any pics or advice for me???

In other words you can modify your current pipe to work as well.

That's what I did with mine. Works beautifully, just make sure you get solid welds on the rear coolant plugs.

I have a couple of brand new rear LS6 plugs laying around - pm me if you can use them. That should make it easy to cut the existing lines to use on the front.
