Default LS1 and LS6 Map sensors the same?

I replaced my stock LS1 intake manifold with an LS6 version 1.5 years ago.

Now my manifold is caked with oily sludge including the MAP sensor located at the back of the unit.

Can I remove the oily LS6 MAP sensor and swap it with the stock sensor from my old LS1 manifold?

Thanks

OK; I thought they are the same. Does a MAP sensor **** up if it is coated with oily sludge?

Is there a way to clean a MAP sensor saftely?

but the MAP sensor is normally exposed to gas and air as a result of the intake charge. So it must be OK to soak the sensor in gas....

This exposure to gas occurs even though the fuel injectors are downwind of the MAP sensor; right?

Is electronic cleaner sold at Radio Shack or other retail outlets?

The MAP sensor is not normally exposed to gas and air mix. Only incoming air from the air filter.
Your thinking like a carbed engine.

Rarely the MAP sensor is exposed to gas, the LS1 has injectors aimed directly at the valve face and that is far from the MAF.

electronic cleaner is avail at radio shack

OK; thanks...

Does the sensor cleaner from radio shack work on all sensors including O2s?

Since it's the same sensor as the one on LS1 intake, why don't you reuse the old one like you thought at first.

I don't think it'll work on the O2 sensors, it's a electronic cleaner like to clean fragile electronic componets and circuit boards.
O2 sensors are exposed to exhaust gas which includes some unburnt fuel at cold starts with a cold engine.
