Talking Installed Shaner S3 Throttle Body today

All I have to say is WOW. I got to install it in less than 20 minutes this morning, before firing it up for the first time.

After the install, when I first turned the engine on, there was a huge difference in intake noise -- a high pitched hiss that sounded awesome. It went away after the engine warmed up.

So I go for a spin very slowly, just to let the car adapt to the new change. Well, no need for that for too long.

The throttle response was improved beyond my expectations. And I did a WOT pull in 3rd gear and OMG the SOTP factor is just awesome!

I know, it's hard to believe that just a TB swap could yield any gains, but again I'm sure in terms of numbers the improvement is just marginal. But since the TB blade opens up faster than before, my right foot is so much happier now.

I will create a page on my site for the Shaner S3 TB today. Should be up by the end of the day.

I put mine on Saturday, great quality and a noticable difference over the stock one.

That's the Volant for firebirds. It's got a little different shape than the camaro ones.

Glad you like the new TB. I like your website that you have put together. You have documented all your mods real good. Wish I could say the same. Great to meet you the other night.

I have been considering the S3 since he brought them out. My biggest hope would be to LOSE a little on the low end. My tires break loose way too easy!
I just found out I need some front rotors so the TB will have to wait...again.
