Thanks for the info, why I can actually picture that. Quite unique right, high flow in the Y and the bullets and quiet with the 4" ultraflo. Looks like would flow well and sound refined.

Unfortunatly neither of these will pass smog, at least not in CA or states with simialr regulations.

You mean because BBK's CARB# registration is in-process?

Yes that, and because ANY cats other than stock or OE are illegal, and must be in the stock location I assume using the stock piping as well.

kooks/qtp race lt's,dual electric cutouts after collecters, 2.5'' stainless oval pipes, mandrel bent, sweet thunder mufflers, over the axle mustang style into corsa tips.

Does that include Random and Carsound cats as well? If so I'd be surprised as most everyone with cats is running one of those two. Alternatively maybe time can be saved by swapping in stock y and cats while they're testing.

This is what most of us do, at least in CA. Only the hardass smog shops will get on you for not having CARB numbers or stock cats. Carsound cats are CARB approved, so I guess they can replace stock, not that they would fit on an LS1 in the stock locations anyways.
