Default aluminum anodized headers

i was thinking of getting some unpainted headers and sending them out to be aluminum anodized.
what do you guys thing??

I suppose it could be done though I've never heard of it so far.

P.S.- FWIW, anodizing is the coating process and aluminum is the metal most often anodized so you can anodize aluminum and have an anodized aluminum part, but you wouldn't "aluminum anodize" a steel part.

anodizing may or may not hold up to header temperatures. The anodizing we used on /r/c nitro cars was only good to 550 or so. After that, it'd burn off. Header temps can see upwards of 900 degrees.
