Anyone Removed Their Baffles?
Thanks in advance.
Are you talking about the lid or the hood?

Yes, you can take them out by drilling the rivets out and breaking the glue loose. They are tough to break loose, but they'll come out. It is best to use an oil type air filter (K&N or other) if you don't already have one.
Another thing that makes it even more effective is to seal the hood up to the airbox so you get only outside air in. If you PM me your e-mail address, I would be happy to send you a write-up I did on how to make one for a few bucks worth of stuff from Home Depot. It is in Microsoft Word with some diagrams to help you.
Here's what I put on mine. A little expensive, but very clean, neat, and easy to install.
Try a search under Brian Greene Ram Air for more info.

thanks
I removed my baffles and it REALLY woke my car up! Now I just need to seal it off.
i cut off the tabs where the honeycomb used to mount to. i left the tabs for about a year before realizing the car looks better without them (the honeycombs) so just decided to do it.... makes it alot smoother looking
