Default plug wire againest header

I just put pacesetter headers on my car and on the drivers side one of the spark plug wires is laying right on the header tube. Has anyone else had this problem with the new version pacesetters(race version)? Do they make wire sets for the LS1 that have angle ends instead of straight ends where it connects to the spark plug? The car is real loud with just glasspacks on the ends of the headers

try twisting the plug wire at the coil 180* . This should give you a little more clearance.

My boot on #3 is extremely close to my pacesetters. I don't think it's touching yet, but I know you'd have a hard time sliding 2 pieces of paper in between them.

I had a problem like this with my old mustang when i still had equal length shorties on it. I used turbo wrap on it and taped it down with the heat shield tape. put it both on the header and the wire. never had to replace the wire again until it was time for a new set.

I cut a little piece of extra heat shield off and wrapped it around the spark plug wire boot where it was touching the header, I hope this holds up for now.

I got one of MSDs wire clips that attaches four wires in a row, and used the slots on each end to clip my two middle plug wires together, pulling them away from the primaries. Hard to explain, the clip holds the wires like this, I'm only using the slots on the ends, does the same thing as pinching the wires together between thumb and index fingers:
