Valve cover connections?

Valve cover connections? Guys I am about to order a set of tall valve covers to fit over my adj. rockers and I have a few questions. As you may or may not know I am in the middle of a thirdgen build (see sig) but I currently don't have the LS1 in front of me to answer the questions myself. I noticed that the stock covers have a few connections on them for hoses and I need to know what to add to the tall covers before I order them. I am going to have a catch can instead of the breather oil cap so that is one connection that I need but what others would I need have added?
Passenger side cover has two hose hookups...the one in the rear is for the LS1 style PCV setup and the one in the front is for the "fresh air" hookup line that comes from the throttlebody. The driver side cover has a grommeted hole in the rear for the LS1 style PCV setup. If you are going to go with the LS6 style PCV which hooks up to the valley cover, then you will not need the hole in the driver side cover and you will not need the rear hose hookup on the passenger side cover. So, the number of hookups needed is based on which PCV setup you choose...oh yeah, you'll also need an oil fill provision...

Now it all makes sence. I was a little confused about the whole PCV difference between the Ls1 and LS6. The engine that I have on the way is a 2001 would it still have the older PCV configuration even if it has the LS6 intake?
If it's an LS1 engine, it should have the LS1 style PCV setup that draws from the valve covers regardless of the LS6 intake...Check out this writeup on the LS6 PCV conversion...it's a really simple conversion...especially if the engine is out of the vehicle...it includes part numbers, too:
