ATI has a very nice unit as well.

I previously had the ASP(old style non-SFI) and replaced it the ATI.

Becaue the weight of the march is distributed closer to the center of the pulley its rotational weigh is less. Its static weight may be the same but its rotational weight changes

Possibly, but it's overall weight is still higher than the ASP even if it's only 4-5 pounds, that's still weight off the nose of the car which is beneficial no matter how ya slice it (drag racing, road racing, fuel economy etc.).
Considering how much better 'balanced' the ASP probably is over the stock one you ARE gaining at least some balance benefits from it along with the potential power gains.
I happen to be a HUGE fan of weight reduction (within reason

) in helping make a car faster so 4 or 5 pounds is not trivial to me.
