Aftermarket companies are funny sometimes
Too late. Tony an I already did that at SEMA

The guy we talked to was up front about the capabilities and output.

Well then, I'll be able to tell for sure how they stack up against the stockers

If anyone here can, it would be you

Sounds like a "interesting" test vehicle for MSD

Ah, back from the dead! Search is great sometimes huh?

I just got one of my magazines and MSD had a huge ad with these in it so I thought I'd see what I could find. My initial reaction was the same. No way are these better than stockers (for the price)... same goes for wires. If I bought some MSD wires it would be for looks, not performance. My stock ones tested around 300 Ohms. Multiple sparks, yeah whatever... since when did LS1s come with points

So, I just need to go pick up some red plastic paint, and I'll be set!

no kidding. I don't understand how MSD expects to sell many of these @ $600/set. Seems like there's alot of cars making big power around here who get by just fine with the stock coils.
