Metco breather

Default Metco breather

who's using one. any pros-cons. i have a catch can and still have oil consumption. i was wondering if this will help me. thanks pat

i had the breather and catch can setup and it helped but did not get rid of the oil consumption completely....i did that on the new motor by removing the pcv system and just using breathers...and have not used a drop and no problems running with out the pcv

Just make sure you delete the PVC system completely if you go with an open filter on the valve cover.I've had good luck with a LS6 PVC system with the catch can.

I found my first con on the metco breather yesterday.

I jumped on it cruising around and i started smelling something bad. The breather isnt very well mounted into the billet oil filler adapter and really doesnt take much to come out, mine popped out and landed on the header and melted it

why do u have to delete the PVC setup?
