Exclamation True duals+convertible.

Has anybody done true duals on a vert? I'm wanting to get LT's, cats, H pipe, and side exits in front of rear tires....with a muffler in there somewhere. I'm just not sure if the framework is the same on the vert as coupes, and will allow such a thing. HELP!

Check out the "boom tube" for something like that. It is on ls1sounds.com. (front page)

Stay away from the boomtubes unless you like to have bleeding ears.

Do a search for side exits. There's a black T/A with a catted true duals setup using sweet thunder mufflers and chrome Z28 tips. The tips exit right in the front of the rear tires.

I believe that if you're going with side exits, the framework is all the same..

Yep, framework is the same. Just be sure and get a tune SOON after your install or the fumes will get to you.

If he's gonna go side exits, I'd think that cats would be a must..

I agree, cats will be needed for a side exit. I'm saving money now to extend my dumps out the back. You were right Z28Venom, the fumes do get to be a annoyance.

Well my plan is to a similiar setup on that black TA. I will use cats, and probably some magnaflow bullets. and exit the exhaust out the side. Have any of you heard this setup, i want it to sound good, but not be annoyingly loud. How does my vert frame differ from others? Thanks for the inputs.
