LS6 intake & nice gains
With my TR220 cam, I did a ported TB and LS6 Intake at the same time. The cam apparently took advantage of both because it's a totally different car. Only problem I have now is getting enough traction and some new GS-D3 helped tremendously. Intake/TB were a great combination and the best B-F-B imagineable, IMHO.
I just got a used ls6 intake and will throw it on after I clean it out. I love reading these threads, probably didnt waste my money.

I'm suprised people are unsure if this is a worthy modification. There is a reason why GM designed this intake and installed it. Anyone running an aftermarket cam, especially a larger one that likes upper RPMs NEEDS to upgrade the intake. The LS6 piece is the perfect one to upgrade to.
I personally don't feel the gains from the LSX are worth it for the price. It's $1300 for maybe 10 more rwhp on a cam only car. Save the intake for when you have a stroker and really need more air.

You won't be disapointed. Let er breath! Also, I've been homeporting my TB as well. All I have left is the epoxy part to do. You'll see good gains on the intake I'm sure, and if you haven't ported the TB, do that as well. (I shoulda done them at the same time, it wasn't as hard as I thought.)
