Default Intake gaskets on 90mm LSX?

I just got my new 90mm LSX and it doesn't come with intake port gaskets? I went to swap them out from my LS1 intake and they're different. The LSX is rounded at the top of the port and the stockers are boxed. The stock gaskets are longer it seems. What's the deal with that? Bastards!

Does FAST sell LSX specific gaskets so you can't reuse your stockers? I thought I could just use the stock gaskets, but I guess not. What did you guys do?

Now I'm confused as I've been told that the stockers will work fine...

They will fit. It just takes time some to press them in place.

You need to use new gaskets when you swap intakes anyway. Once the gasket has been crushed, there is no sure way that it will sit the same in a new position. I bought Fel-pro intake gaskets from ABC auto and they fit perfect. No need for a specific gasket.

I'm just going to buy new ones I guess. If the stock ones fit, they don't fit well. The gasket reliefs on the LSX are shorter than the GM reliefs. Sucks. I'll give it a shot with some new gaskets.

I used the stock style gaskets and they fit fine. Take your time and make sure they all tuck in the grooves properly. I used alittle dilectric grease on them to help them slide in the grooves easier.

Can I get this dilectric grease at a local auto parts store? How much $$? Thanks.

Yes, under $5 for a small tube.
