Default ah, the age old question...which pulley??

gonna get underdrive crank pulley. thinkin about ASP. dont know any other kinda, well havent hear or read about them in the search (yes i searched this)
new one from them has no issues with double roller right?

from the reading i see they are good, but if anyone thinks otherwise let me know. which sponsor sells them the cheapest?

Correct, good with the double roller.

Try looking in the Group Purchases section to see who sells them the best as a kit; you'll need new belts as well.

You have other choices, March, ATI (the best but big $), Fluidampr, SLP etc but I'd go with the ASP personally.

I used the SLP pulley, Nice quality & has higher belt wall just in case you might throw a belt. I purchased it from speedinc.

yeah the ones i have been thinking about have been ASP and SLP. i thought all the belt throwing problems were from bad tensioners??

The ASPs are a good pulley. I went with the March for the sole purpose of it being fluid dampened. My rev limiter is set at 6600rpm's and since the pulley swap it revs better on the top end.(a little smoother)
I don't think you'll go wrong either way. I'd say stick with either ASP or March.

I got my March at Skoggin Dickey for $189. I'm very happy with it. As for the ASP, I'm not sure I just know alot of people run them and like them.
The March is heavier than the ASP, but on the upside it does dampen better for cars with alot of mods.

Maybe someone with alot of mods can chime in that has the ASP. In my case the March was a better alternative. You could probobly get the ASP and have 600rwhp and be fine for all I know.
I don't want to steer you either way because the difference in most cases is probobly minimal. Good luck! My lunch's over.

wtf, mate? spell much?

an underdrive pulley IS a worthy mod as it frees up the crank by minimizing the drag applied on it. asp and march are the two top names that are under $300. next step up is ATI Damper but that is BIG $$$...best in the business tho. personally i'm going with a march fluid dampened pulley when the time comes, i have heard great things about it, nobody has had any issues with knock or belt slippage, and while its about the same weight as stock, the fluid on the inside remains motionless so it shouldn't be calculated as rotating mass.
