factory SS exhaust
I am having to put a new catback on my car b/c I have to tone it down some due to the fact that i am moving and the place i am moving has regulations on sound levels.
So i was thinking about putting an SS exhaust on my car b/c i can pick one up for very cheap and I will just add a cutout to use as needed.
edit: it is the dual exit exhaust and not the single tip. Also, it does utilize 3 inch piping doesnt it?
I was just wondering what the SS exhaust sounds like with an ORY and a mild cam. Couldnt find anything on ls1sounds.com
Thanks
DMNSPD: it belongs to a good friend of mine and he has not told me exactly, but i imagine it would be ~$75-100. He wants me to look at it first b/c he said there was a ding in the muffler, so i think he just wants me to make him an offer. It also already has the cutout welded to it, so that is a plus, just have to bolt it up.
badandy: love the pic, hilarious. What movie is it from, it seems so familiar, yet so distant..lol. Also, back to exhaust, sometimes i would like to be able to hear the mild sewing machine action of the valvetrain and of course that wonderful header sound.
Does the SS exhaust have a 3 inch intermediate pipe?

1) place my y-pipe w/ MAC cats back on (yet i really hate cats, especially those MAC's)
2) buy the SS exhaust and have a cutout
3) place a XR-1 in place of the resonator
I think the best option is 2 (more sneaky, sneaky as badandy would say.lol), but just wanting some opinions
thanks again
