2000 ls1 to new ls6 questions

got my hands on a ls6 service motor from gmpartsdepot.com and was wondering if it was possible to get the ls6 intake WITHOUT the EGR. Also what size MAF i should use and if I could use one off of a z06 w/o messing up the 2000 LS1's computer.

Any other info about the swap is also a HUGE help...

The ls6 intake doesnt have an egr also your stock maf should work fine. Read jrps stickeys at the top of the page.

Since it will be an ls6 you should run the zo6 maf maf and have the tune updated. It will run fine with the stock maf and tune but in order to unlock it's full potential, and from tinkinering with more or less the same setup in my car it helped a lot after updating pcm and maf.
