I guess the guy can't win then?
Scenerio 1 - he uses the search function, finds a threaqd on the topic he's interested in (without noticing age of the thread) and asks a question about it . . . . . . and gets called unintelligent for his trouble.
Scenerio 2 - he posts a question on a topic that's been discussed a LOT over the years in a new thread and some asshammer calls him out on not using the search button.
The point is . . . someone's going to come along and call him dumb for opening his mouth either way just because he's new..... even if that someone can't spell the insult they're tossing at him.

shrug, good question........ I'll let it go, he can have the last word on it if he wants, but I'm just not a fan of his insulting posts aimed at people who're new to the site.
