So tell me, how do I tell the difference between the old and new style of Pacesetters? Did the part number change? Also, which long tube has the best ground clearance? I know it is not SLP, but how do others compare?

unless there are provisions (bungs) for mounting your rear o2's you will need o2 sims or have the rear o2 codes removed from the pcm programming. If you're getting the TSP or pacesetter ORY it will not come with any bungs for the rear o2's.

Yep you'll need LS1 Edit, HP Tuners. I'm not sure about the other hand helds but I know with the Predator you would need a custom tune, you can't just turn those codes off yourself. Cheapest route would be o2 sims.
I know Speed Inc will do a mail order PCM for $150, they'll delete the codes for you among other things.
